Here's some FAQ about lawn mowing:

  • Who:  You and your teammate.  2 people to a team.
  • How often?  Once a month.
  • How long does it take?  1 hour.
  • What do we mow?  Only Kentucky blue grass close to the building and along the sidewalks.  Leave Larry Arp's long grass prairie on the west side of the property alone.  You've been warned.  ðŸ¤£
  • Do we collect the grass and put it in the dumpster?  No, but it's your choice.
  • Where are the beautiful new battery powered lawnmowers?  In the barn to the west of the Fellowship.
  • How do I get into the barn?  David will demonstrate how to get the key out of the key safe on the left side of the barn. (Wasn't 1960 a good year?)
  • Where are the batteries stored?   In the main storage room across from the kitchen.  Walk in the door and turn right, you'll see them on the shelf.
  • What should I do when I'm done?    Return the mowers to the  barn and the batteries to their chargers in the storage room.
  • How do I lock the barn?   David will demonstrate. (Wasn't 1960 a good year?)
  • Do we have to trim edges or blow debris off the sidewalk?  Only if you want to.  There is a brand new edger and blower in the barn.
  • Where is the battery for the edger and blower? It is in the same storage room as the lawnmower batteries.
  • What do I do with them when I'm finished?  Put the edger and blower back in the barn.  Put the battery on its charger in the main storage room.
  • When should we mow?  Saturday morning or afternoon, Friday morning or afternoon, Sunday afternoon, Monday morning or afternoon.  You and your partner should choose what works best for you.
  • What if I can't mow on the weekend that I'm scheduled.   Contact another team and negotiate a switch of dates.
  • Can someone show me how this all works?  Yes, contact David and he will be happy to meet you at the Fellowship for a tutorial.
